Chris Anderson, a native of Roanoke, Virginia, joined our firm in April, 2020. He received his B.A. in business administration from Strayer University and his law degree from the University of Elon, in Greensboro North Carolina. While in law school, Chris served on the board and successfully competed in Elon’s Moot Court Program. He was honored to be recognized as a national member of The Order of the Barrister, a distinction awarded to students who exhibit excellence and attain high honor through the art of courtroom advocacy; he concentrated his studies in criminal defense and trial litigation in anticipation of joining our firm.

Chris focuses his practice on criminal defense and traffic, while also providing litigation support for other firm members in both federal and state court. He has made numerous court appearances on behalf of our clients, and he has proven to be a tough and successful litigator. Since June of 2020, Chris has also provided representation to many indigent defendants in Juvenile and Domestic relations, General District, as well as Circuit courts on a court appointed basis in our local jurisdictions where there are no public defender’s offices.

He is a member of the Virginia State Bar, VTLA (Virginia Trial Lawyers Association), and the VACDL (Virginia section of Criminal Defense Lawyers).

He is married to Caitlin Anderson and they have two young sons, Oliver and Grant. Chris enjoys spending his free time listening to and playing music, as well as spending time with his family on different adventures.
